Organising commitee and sponsors

  • Ben Pascoe - Research Fellow at the Milner Centre for Evolution, University of Bath leading research into Campylobacter global epidemiology, Campylobacter ecology and evolution.
  • Lisa Williams - Lecturer at Hartpury University, research interests include, methods of controlling Campylobacter in poultry on farm and during processing, dietary additives and host-pathogen interactions.
  • Ozan Gundogdu - Assistant Professor at LSHTM. His group uses molecular microbiology and bioinformatics methods to investigate Campylobacter physiology/pathogenesis, and translates this knowledge to real life settings (e.g., intervention & control strategies).
  • Nicol Janecko - Career track group leader in the Microbes of the Food Chain strategic program at Quadram Institute Bioscience, Norwich, UK. She is an epidemiologist and microbiologist of foodborne zoonoses. Her group focuses on Campylobacter survival and transmission through different ecological niches with a particular emphasis on the food continuum. She investigates the epidemiology and genomics of Campylobacter using established and innovative metagenomic approaches.
  • Nabil-Fareed Alikhan - Bioinformatician within the Core Bioinformatics group at the Quadram Institute.
